TAK (Laura Cocks, flute; Liam Kinson, clarinet; Marina Kifferstein, violin; Ellery Trafford, percussion; Charlotte Mundy, soprano; David Bird, electronics) and guest harpist, Melanie Genin present: MOTORS, a program featuring three new works written for TAK, as well as the presentation of two winners of their Call for Scores competition. The evening will feature electronic and acoustic music, a high stakes chess game, bells and buttons, and of course, motors. Works include: Idolum, by Taylor Brook; 1972, by Halldór Smárason; The Colors Don't Match, by Natacha Diels, et al. Post-concert pizza reception sponsored by Sottocasa Pizzeria.
