Patrick Brennan's Transparency Kestra is a modularly organized ensemble of roughly eight to fourteen primarily wind and string performers that investigates multiple flows of musical information in a way that crisscrosses genre defined boundaries between so called formal composition, collective improvisation and conduction by means of an examination of the under-tested intersections of drum and melodic principles. Performers include Ken Filaino, Hilliard Greene, flutes and piccolo; Haruna Fukazawa, Stephanie Griffin, bass; Brian Groder, viola; Thomas Heberer, trumpet.
