Sunday Matinees at Dance Theatre of Harlem is a community service tradition of more than 40 years, bringing the finest in performance arts to Harlem. On February 8, in addition to dancers of the Dance Theatre of Harlem Company, DTH welcomes Asase Yaa African American Dance Theatre, vocalist Nitya Thomas and flutists Julian Rose, Felipe Tristan, Emily Wespiser of Metropolitan Four with composer Josh Oxford. The flute trio's program features the world premiere of Oxford's new work, 3 Ways In, commissioned in honor of this concert in collaboration with Composers Now, and Jacques Casterede's Flutes en Vacances.
