Many old Japanese gardens were designed to inspire people through the day, throughout the year or even across generations. The ensemble WaFoo, which means "winds of Japan" or "Japanese style," will perform original music in a concert presented by the Queens Library International Resource Center. Works by Kazuo Nakamura and Takeshi Asai include His Adventure, Avenue to Remember, Après le Festival, et al. Performed by WaFoo (Yuuki Koike, Takeshi Asai, Kazuo Nakamura) and MCCE (Tamara Keshecki, Lucille Corwin, Madeline Casparie).
