The first concert of the 2019 Cutting Edge Concerts New Music Festival features Steven Burke's "Dream Forms" inspired by clairvoyant, lucid and epic dreams. The concert includes Victoria Bond's "Other Selves," commissioned by the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival as a ballet based on sculptures by Marjorie Michael that portrays vignettes from a woman's life, and "Piano Trio No. 2" by Jim Lahti. The New York-based piano trio, Di.vi.sion will perform. As with all Cutting Edge Concerts, each composer will be present to discuss their works on stage with host Victoria Bond.
