Shankar is Brian Adler's newest project built around themes from his childhood spent in an ashram. In it, surreal landscapes and structures are created out of layered mantras, drones and rhythmic riddles, steeped in the vedantic tradition. Featuring Matt Moran, vibes; Jonathan Goldberger, guitar; Santiago Leibson, piano; Rob Jost, bass; Brian Adler, drums and compositions.
