For its first concert of 2016, the Cheah Chan Duo presents "Modern Love Songs," a concert of love songs by contemporary composers of the 20th and 21st centuries. Featuring the eponymous song cycle by Chester Biscardi, the program also showcases music by Harold Arlen, Milton Babbitt, Leonard Bernstein, Francesca Blumenthal, Alberto Ginastera, Frank J. Oteri, Mary Rodgers, Stephen Sondheim, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Kurt Weill, and many more.
