"Facets" by Elliot Humberto Kavee includes the premiere of works for Tenor Saxophone (Tony Malaby), Acoustic Bass Guitar (Stomu Takeishi) and Drums/Percussion (Kavee). Elliot Humberto Kavee has been the drummer of Henry Threadgill's Zooid for 15 years; performances of Kavee's compositions include works for Club Foot Orchestra (at Lincoln Center, and on CBS Television), Fieldwork (with Vijay Iyer, Steve Lehman and Aaron Stewart), Asian Improv aRts (with Francis Wong), and a Dramalogue Award winning score for the San Francisco Mime Troupe (3 national tours).
