Colombian jazz pianist and composer Carolina Calvache presents a collection of instrumental pieces that are at once a part of the jazz tradition but also relate to her roots in Colombia. The pianist will perform music from her latest album Sotareño released on Sunny Side Records, as well as new original compositions for her contemporary jazz quartet featuring Tivon Pennicott on saxophone, Peter Slavov on bass and Ronen Itzik on drums and sounds.
