Composer Enrique Granados was famously inspired to transform the paintings of Francisco Goya into the piano suite considered his masterpiece – Goyescas. Contemporary composer Theodore Wiprud has been similarly inspired by painter John Singer Sargent. Join pianist Yoonie Han, Baruch art historian Prof. Gail Levin, and Theodore Wiprud to explore through music and talk, how art forms illuminate one another. This concert includes the world premiere of Theordore Wiprud's Miss Ellen Terry as Lady Macbeth.
