Randy Redd

RANDY REDD made his Broadway debut in PARADE (Lincoln Center) directed by Harold Prince. Other Broadway credits include RING OF FIRE and MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. He most recently appeared in ALLEGRO (Classic Stage Company), directed by John Doyle, Alain Boublil's MANHATTAN PARISIENNE directed by Graciela Daniele, and PUMP BOYS & DINETTES (City Center Encores). Other credits include Randy Newman's FAUST (City Center Encores), THE BURNT PART BOYS (Playwrights Horizons), Terrence McNally's SOME MEN (Second Stage), the American premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's BY JEEVES directed by Alan Ayckbourn, MIDSUMMER (City Theatre), LUCKY STIFF (York Theatre), BLOOD BROTHERS, ONE MAN BAND, SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN (Lambs Theatre), FOREVER PLAID, EMPIRE and ON THE TOWN. Film/TV: "Beautiful Creatures" and "The Last 5 Years" directed by Richard LaGravenese, "After The Storm" with James Lecesne, "Kinsey" directed by Bill Condon, "From Broadway With Love" (PBS), "All-American New Years" (FOX), "The Wright Verdicts", Good Morning America, the Today Show, the Tony Awards, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. As a writer, his first play, MISSISSIPPI SUGAR, was developed and produced at The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. Other original works include HUMAN VOICES with James Lecesne, FICTION IN PHOTOGRAPHS with Dan Mills, WHAT'S THAT SMELL: THE MUSIC OF JACOB STERLING (Atlantic Theatre Company) with David Pittu, PROJECT BARBRA (Funny or Die), piano arrangements for the plays GOLDEN AGE by Terrence McNally (Philadelphia Theater Company and The Kennedy Center), THERE'S THE STORY by Tim McCracken, the short film HOLD directed by Peter Phillips (American Living Room: Lincoln Center) and "With You" (recorded by Ronan Keating) for "Postman Pat: The Movie" (Lionsgate). Credits as a director include SWING WINGS (York Theater), FICTION IN PHOTOGRAPHS (New World Stages), and EXTRAORDINARY JOE (Abrons Arts Center). CD: SHOWFOLK with Rachel Bay Jones, Robin Skye's HOUSE OF LOVE, PARADE, RING OF FIRE, THE BURNT PART BOYS, LUCKY STIFF, NEO, and Jason Robert Brown's WEARING SOMEONE ELSE'S CLOTHES. In concert: Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Symphony Space, Cooper Union, St. John the Divine, Birdland, Feinstein's, Ars Nova, and numerous appearances at Joe's Pub.
