Carl Haan (MUSICAL DIRECTOR) - Broadway: Lestat; Off-Broadway: Five Course Love, Miracle Brothers, We're Still Hot, On the Town, The Pirates of Penzance; Regional: The Last Five Years, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jewsical: The Chosen Musical, The Yiddish are Coming! The Yiddish are Coming! He just spent the winter in the Caribbean aboard the Norwegian Spirit as the musical director for the Second City out of Chicago. Originally from Chicago, Carl recently relocated to New York City. Recent Chicago credits include the Midwest premiere of Michael John LaCiusa's The Wild Party at Circle Theatre where he was also nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for Outstanding Musical Direction for his work in NINE: The Musical. Other notable Chicago credits include Forever Plaid, MENOPAUSE: The Musical, Into the Woods, Passion, Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh, Song & Dance and A Little Night Music. He also played for classes at DePaul University, Roosevelt University and Northwestern University. Since moving to NYC, he has worked at Wagner College, Broadway Dance Center, Steps and CAP 21.
