Scott Stein is a NY-based pianist, songwriter, conductor and music director. A native of Akron, OH, Scott received a B.M. in Composition from The Ohio State University before moving to New York in 2007. An in-demand accompanist and collaborator, Scott has recently served as musical director for a number of new theatrical works including productions at NYMF, Fringe NY and the Venus-Adonis Theater Festival. He is currently the conductor of four choral / vocal ensembles including jazz/pop ensemble Uncommon Chord and the Manhattan chapter of HaZamir: The International Jewish High School Choir.
