Michael Rock

Michael Rock is a teacher, director, performer and writer. His performing credits include Mummenschanz on Broadway, many years with TheatreSports, Spontaneous Broadway and other improvisation shows as well as many regional, stock and touring productions where he had to actually memorize lines. Michael was recently awarded "Best Director" at the 20/20 New Play Festival in Garrison, NY. He has also directed many musicals for UPenn, award-winning variety shows for Hersheypark, children's theatre for Slim Goodbody and others.  He has taught improvisation for Ringling Bros. Clown College, The Second City NY Training Center, NYU-Steinhardt and probably your uncle.  He currently  teaches acting and improvisation for  Marymount Manhattan College, Artistic New Directions and The Music Conservatory of Westchester.  He is also a corporate trainer for Performance of a Lifetime, using improvisation to develop and inspire corporate executives.  He is learning to write plays.
