Hit 'Southern Comfort' Nominated for a GLAAD Award:
The CAP21 Theatre Company's recent off-Broadway production, Southern Comfort, (by Dan Collins & Julianne Wick Davis, Directed by Thomas Caruso) was just nominated for a GLAAD Award in the Outstanding New York Theatre category.
The production of Southern Comfort was also selected for The Advocate's 2011 Year-End Best New York Theater Top 10 list and received serious critical acclaim, including glowing reviews from The New York Times, Time Out New York, The New York Post, and The Advocate. Both The New York Times and Time Out New York listed it as the 'Critic's Pick' and 'Best Bet'. CAP21 is ecstatic!

Todd Alsup recently gave a concert featuring his own music at Rockwood Music Hall - named by NY Magazine as the top live music venue in NYC.
Ann Dowd appeared in Bachelorette and Compliance. The two films were featrued in the Sundance Film Festival and Ann was named one of the 6 Faced to Watch by the Hollywood Reporter.
Ongoing Advanced Scene Study/Audition Prep Class with Sean Dougherty
Keep your acting skills honed and ready for the next audition. Sean Dougherty's ongoing scene study class can help apply the skills you learned in school, flex your muscles and keep your work audition-ready.
Work on material of any type that interests and challenges you and/or bring in material for upcoming auditions. CAP21graduates will receive priority placement, but the class is open to any working actors with prior training/work experience.
Monday nights at CAP 7-9pm
