CAP21 Offers Dance Classes to Alumni!
.
Greetings CAP21 Alumni!
In response to your requests for dance classes, we are able to offer LIMITED spaces to those interested in taking Ballet, Jazz, or Tap here at CAP21!
Each course will run for 12 weeks, 2 classes per week, @ 1.5 hrs.
Classes will run from August 20th – December 14th.
Classes are currently scheduled at these times:
Ballet: Cristine Dhimos and Marilyn D'Honau
Mon./Wed. - 12pm-1:30pm or 1:30pm-3pm
Jazz: Austin Eyer and Lori Leshner Mon./Wed. - 12pm-1:30pm or 1:30pm-3pm
Tap: Michael Raine
Tues./Thurs. - 10am-11:30am or 11:30am - 1pm

Options are available to take a single course or any combination at a cost of $450 per course.
Payment is due in full by Wednesday, August 8th.
This is a great opportunity to hone your skills, keep in shape for auditions, and work with CAP21 faculty who will continue to push and support you.

Austin Eyer ('03 Cap Alum and current CAP faculty) spent the month of July teaching Acting and Movement for Music Theater Bavaria in Germany. And in August will be performing in the Transcendence Theatre Company's Summer concert series in Sonoma, CA.

Timothy Hughes will make his Broadway debut in the upcoming production of Chaplin. Previews begin August 21st and opens September 10th, 2012 at The Barrymore Theater.

Lauren Hope-London received her MFA for the Central School of Speech and Drama, appeared in the UK premiere of Little Women and just completed a run of Spring Awakening.

Beyond the Classroom:
Ongoing Advanced Scene Study/Audition Prep Class with Sean Dougherty
Keep your acting skills honed and ready for the next audition. Sean Dougherty's ongoing scene study class can help apply the skills you learned in school, flex your muscles and keep your work audition-ready.
Work on material of any type that interests and challenges you and/or bring in material for upcoming auditions. CAP21graduates will receive priority placement, but the class is open to any working actors with prior training/work experience.
Monday nights at CAP 7-9pm
$40 per class – or buy a 10-pack for $300
