Ocean Bay Community Development

Ocean Bay Community Development Corp (OBCDC) is a direct service not-for-profit organization in Arverne, NY focused on assisting NYCHA and other low income residents to revitalize and transform the community – through programs for seniors and youth.

OBCDC continues to increase services for seniors; including computer training, access to Senior Services and transportation to local doctor's appointments, community services and activities. OBCDC is a certified NYCHA-REES partner through the Office of Resident Economic Empowerment and Sustainability (REES) giving them direct access to residents who need services to improve their economic opportunities.
