Promise Project serves New York City school children from low-income backgrounds who are struggling with learning and attention issues.
Our clinic predominantly serves children from Washington Heights, Harlem, and the South Bronx. These neighborhoods have some of the city’s highest poverty rates and some of the most underserved and marginalized families. The area also has NYC’s highest percentage of students who are English Language Learners (ELL), as well as the highest percentage of immigrant students. In order to qualify for our program, families must be below NYC poverty guidelines.
