Steven Bednasz

Steven is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts and a CAP21 alum. He currently is an accompanist at CAP and teaches private voice/piano lessons and acting classes at Annie's Playhouse, a performing arts school for kids of all ages, where he is also the in-house Musical Director. He's performed in numerous musicals including The Wild Party (NYU), Joseph...Dreamcoat, Anything Goes, Into the Woods, and Booth! (Skirball Center) and also participated in the Tisch Gala of 2007 hosted by Billy Crystal. Steven has also musical directed many productions including Parade, A Class Act (NYU), Forever Plaid (Provincetown, MA), Sound of Music (Burlington, VT), Bring Back Birdie and ...It's Superman! for the Closing Notice series at the Duplex, and was the rehearsal accompanist for The Rocky Horror Show fundraiser for Susan G. Koman for the Cure starring Neil Patrick Harris at the American Airlines Theater. He has also played for the likes of Emily Skinner, Kate Shindle, and performed at the Princess Grace Awards in front of Prince Albert of Monaco. Steven is also a tubist and amateur violinist and is beginning to test his chops at songwriting.
