Students enrolled in the program will move together through their courses both on Molloy's Rockville Centre campus, located 40 minutes outside of New York City, and at Molloy/CAP21's newly-renovated, state-of-the-art Manhattan Center located at 50 Broadway.
As they pursue the B.F.A. degree, Molloy students will experience both Molloy College campus life and the New York City professional theatre surroundings at CAP21. During their first year, freshmen will spend three days a week taking a variety of academic and studio classes at Molloy. The other two days of the week will be spent taking classes at the Molloy/CAP21 Manhattan Center.
For sophomore, junior and senior years, B.F.A. students will take two days of classes at Molloy and three days of classes at the Molloy/CAP21 Manhattan Center. Throughout their eight semesters in the B.F.A. program, students will take a wide range of performing arts classes that will include: Acting, Voice (both ensemble and individual), Jazz and Ballet. The Molloy College/CAP21 BFA Program boasts of offering a weekly private voice lesson to each student for all four years of study.
