CAP21 Offers Dance Classes to Alumni!

.
Greetings CAP21 Alumni!

 

In response to your requests for dance classes, we are able to offer LIMITED spaces to those interested in taking Ballet, Jazz, or Tap here at CAP21!

 

Each course will run for 12 weeks, 2 classes per week, @ 1.5 hrs.

 

Classes will run from August 20^th – December 14^th.

 

Classes are currently scheduled at these times:

 

Ballet:
Mon./Wed. - 12pm-1:30pm or 1:30pm-3pm                                  

Jazz:                                      
Mon./Wed. - 12pm-1:30pm or 1:30pm-3pm

Tap

Tues./Thurs. - 10am-11:30am or 11:30am - 1pm

Options are available to take a single course or any combination at a cost of $450 per course.

 

Payment is due in full by Wednesday, August 8^th.

 

This is a great opportunity to hone your skills, keep in shape for auditions, and work with CAP21 faculty who will continue to push and support you.

Emily Blake Anderson is appearing in Will Rodgers Follies at Arizona Broadway Theatre.

Jared Gertner is currently in rehearsals for the National Tour of The Book of Mormon.

Brittney Johnson is appearing in the National Tour of Les Mis as the Eponine Understudy.

Hannah Kiem  is appearing in the Ensemble in Barrington Stage Company's Fiddler on the Roof.

Jeanette Minson is appearing as Agnes in George M at Westchester Broadway Theatre

Jonathan  McCrory is directing a new production titled Blacken The Bubble which will be running for three weeks in October.

Jessi Trauth will be appearing as Roxie in a production of Chicago at Seacoast Repertory Theatre in Portsmouth, NH July 20-August 26th.

Sam Willmott is appearing in New Mondays at the new cabaret space 54 Below. He recently had his Broadway Debut playing Key II for Sister Act. He is also music directing Jewish Books Cooking.

Amy Wolk and Gerard Salvador will be hosting another installment of Friends With Benefits: My High School Musical 2 at The Metropolitan Room on July 15th, with a featured performance by Pearl Sun.

Beyond the Classroom:

Ongoing Advanced Scene Study/Audition Prep Class with Sean Dougherty

 

Keep your acting skills honed and ready for the next audition. Sean Dougherty's ongoing scene study class can help apply the skills you learned in school, flex your muscles and keep your work audition-ready. 

 

Work on material of any type that interests and challenges you and/or bring in material for upcoming auditions. CAP21graduates will receive priority placement, but the class is open to any working actors with prior training/work experience. 

 

Monday nights at CAP 7-9pm

$40 per class – or buy a 10-pack for $300

Ryan Murray  will be playing Princeton in AVE Q this summer in Santa Barbara at the Garvin Theatre. Total Body Workout class will be suspended until August.
