The SDCF Announces The 2011 Mike Ockrent Fellowship:
The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) is now accepting submissions for this season's Mike Ockrent Fellowship opportunity observing Jeff Calhoun as he directs Bonnie & Clyde on Broadway. The Fellowship begins full-time with first rehearsal on October 3 and runs through opening night, December 1. Limited pre-production work may begin mid-September.
Directors, choreographers, and director/choreographers are eligible for this Fellowship. The Fellow is paid a stipend of $5000 and must be available for the entire Fellowship period. The Fellow will be selected by a Selection Committee made up of professional directors & choreographers.

NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation Auditions:
The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) will be hosting an open call forNYMF's Next Broadway Sensation on Thursday, September 8th from 12-6pm at New World Stages (340 W. 50th Street). Callbacks (and a limited number of scheduled appointments) will be on Saturday, September 10th from 1-6pm, also at New World Stages.
CAP21 Alumni may directly e-mail Jason Haft at jason.haft@nymf.org to schedule appointments for Saturday Slots are not guaranteed until confirmed and will be granted based on availability.
The competition runs on three consecutive Saturday evenings at 10:30pm at New World Stages: September 17th, September 24th, and October 1st.

Dana Winkle recently appeared in Curtains at Paper Mill Playhouse and Theatre Under the Stars. She is not appearing in Walnut Street Theatres production of Aspects of Love.

Join Ryan Murray on Wednesday evenings for, "Total Body Workout Class". Classes will be offered at CAP21 throughout the summer from 6:30-8:00pm. Cost is just $10.00. ALL fitness levels welcome. Bring your mat and a bottle of water, and get ready to sweat!
Starting Monday August 15, CAP21 alum and dance faculty member, Austin Eyer, will be teaching a Open Jazz Class at CAP21. The class is geared toward an intermediate level, but all levels are welcome.
Classes are 90 minutes and meet from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at CAP21 Studios, 6th Floor. Classes will consist of a 30 minute warm up, a short across the floor technique review and then culminates in a Jazz combination taught at "dance audition speed". Drop in for a single class for $12
