See and hear a dozen surprising, provocative ways when Composers Concordance, William Paterson University, & Composers Guild of New Jersey present the Backpack Music Project at William Paterson University Performed by the New Jersey Percussion Ensemble, new works scored for only as many percussion instruments as can fit in a standard backpack - reveal how creative composition knows no bounds, regardless of the compact size and limited number of instruments in use. Get ready for an exciting musical journey! Featured composers include Ann Warren, Chris Opperman, Carlton Wilkinson, Dan Cooper, Gene Pritsker, John Ferrari, Payton MacDonald and Peter Jarvis.
