An all-acoustic concert featuring original sounds for strings: violist Nick Pauly and cellist Maria Hadge perform new works and contemporary classics at the Alchemical Theater Laboratory. Pauly premieres his composition "Four C3s for One" (2016) – music for viola with four unison C strings. Hadge performs "Vibl" (2015), a scintillating work for solo cello by New York-based composer Victor Baez. The program also features duos by Betsy Jolas and Paul Hindemith.
