TRION got its start at the Jazz Gallery in 2016 featuring saxophonist Chris Potter and bassist Linda May Han Oh under the moniker B.O.P. for Blake, Oh, and Potter. In 2018 the band recorded live at the Jazz Gallery under the name TRION. Recorded by veteran photographers Jimmy & Dena Katz for their imprint Giant Step Arts. It was voted as one of Jazz Times top 50 jazz albums of 2019.
